Mobile Robots

Mobile robots are expected by many experts to achieve a future diffusion rate which exceeds the diffusion rate of today's industrial robots by far.

In analogy to the term "Personal Computer" the notion "Personal Robot" is already used in the context of machines which are intended to support their owners in accomplishing day-to-day tasks.

It may be stated that by applying today's technology mobile robots can be assembled which may be used for certain applications within the services sector, e.g. for cleaning, transportation, and surveillance.

Moreover, today's technology allows the realization of mobile robots offering the service to playfully impart knowledge rather than performing manual tasks: Mobile robots as teaching aids.

Our small-sized mobile robots are computationally powerful and versatile systems which are primarily used for teaching at schools and in particular at universities. Thus, several well-known universities belong to our customers.
